We ate at the side of the barge, overlooking the water.  It is windy so put your hair up, and gets chilly due to the wind.  It is definitely an interesting setup and great bar food and drinks.  I enjoyed it.  Be careful walking from land to the barge, the water is right there, and if you are clumsy like me, possiblity to drop things in the water.  Thank God I did not drop anything in the water.
    .
You can get a hotdog for 4.99, and the other meals priced up to 18.99 for crab cakes.  My son and his girlfriend got the River Philly-1 Steak, 1 Chicken.  I had the Grouper Sandwich.  Food was delicious.

We also watched the sunset over the water, facing the Battleship across the water. I loved this floating barge bar concept.

    Overall good experience.

Location/ Venue:  Awesome.  Floating barge on the Cape Fear River attached to to Wilmington Riverwalk.  Had dinner about an hour prior to sunset and sat at the long counter right on the river.  They have shades to cover you from the overpowering sun.  Watch birds dive on the river for fish while enjoying a few beverages.

Food:  Decent.  Had fried pickles, chicken sandwich, wife had a bbq salad.  It's not 5 star food, but it's priced appropriately and tastes good.  Corn on the cob was mushy which was the only disappointment.

Alcohol:  Good beer selection; GF cider for the woman lady.

Value:  Very Reasonably priced for what you get.  Two people, 3 drinks a piece, dinner, and an appetizer for less than 60 bucks.

Service:  Good.  Waitstaff were attentive and polite.

Overall: Great place to spend an afternoon/evening in Wilmington.

Good food, casual atmosphere with nice food. Stopped in with my boyfriend after strolling down the peer and the food smelled great so we decided to stop. The place was fairly busy for a Friday night but we ordered drinks and waited for seats. We only had to wait about 15 minutes.

For dinner I ordered the grilled shrimp and my boyfriend got the crab cakes. Both meals were very good and they didn't skimp on the shrimp!

Beautiful view. Great location for a casual bite. Unfortunately the service is awful. The servers nor the managers made any effort to recover.

Took a vacation day and went to Wilmington. I was looking for. Spot to chill by the water, enjoy a cold one and some quick eats. I loved the ambiance of this on-the-river establishment.  It was stocked with plenty of TV's over head and the seating was adequate to handle 70 ppl. As the river drifted by, I appreciated the scenery, the slow-moving ceiling fans, and laid back feel.  It was a beautiful afternoon, sparsely populated and great views. I had a local amber that was smooth and easy finishing. I ordered some wings to accompany the brew. The Smokey Dry rub wings weren't that smokey, however they were cooked well. I asked for more dry-rub and was quickly attended to.  The food was pretty good, not extremely flavorful but a nice wing dish. I would have loved to give it 5-stars but that reserved for an elite restaurant.
